Moscow (MRC) - According to the ICIS-MRC price report, the export prices of titanium dioxide (TiO2) Chinese suppliers have dropped by 50-150 U.S. dollars per ton from last week, and this year has reached the bottom.

The CIF price in St. Petersburg (including delivery to Russian ports) is US$1,600-1,650/tonne, excluding VAT. The CIF price in St. Petersburg at the beginning of 2015 was USD 2,000-2,200/t, excluding VAT. Traders said that domestic demand still fell sharply this year despite falling prices.

In the first three quarters of 2015, China’s titanium dioxide exports fell by twofold to 5,000 tons. The Chinese model accounts for 9% of the total Russian titanium dioxide consumption. Rutile is the main model exported from China.
