·The metal tube float flowmeter must be installed vertically, the fluid flows through the flowmeter from bottom to top, and the verticality is better than 2°, and the horizontal angle is better than 2° when horizontally installed;
· The metal tube float flowmeter installed on the process pipeline should be bypassed to facilitate the handling of faults or purge without affecting production;
·The inlet of the metal tube float flowmeter should have a straight pipe section with a length of 5 times or more, and the outlet should have a straight pipe section of 250mm to ensure the accuracy of the meter measurement;
· If the medium contains ferromagnetic substances, a magnetic filter should be installed;
· If the medium contains solid impurities, consider adding a filter between the valve and the straight pipe section;
· When used for gas measurement, ensure that the pipeline pressure is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter to stabilize the float;
·If the temperature of the measured medium is higher than 220 °C or the fluid temperature is too low, crystallization is required. When thermal insulation protection is required, the jacket type should be selected for cooling or heat preservation;
·The pipe flange, fasteners, gaskets and flowmeter flanges have the same standard to enable the instrument to be installed and operated normally;
·This product generally does not require maintenance after the device is in normal operation. The fault often occurs when the device is just started. Because the pipe is not cleaned, the float is caught by the solid particles. At this time, the pointer of the indicator stops at a position. Do not move. At this time, first close the valve on both sides of the flowmeter, then remove the upper flange, take out the float for cleaning, and then reinstall it. Note that the upper flange nut should be tightened tightly and the gasket should be placed;
· In order to avoid deformation of the flowmeter caused by the pipeline, the flange of the process pipeline must be coaxial with the flange of the flowmeter and parallel to each other. Properly support the pipeline to avoid vibration of the pipeline and reduce the axial load of the flowmeter. The control valve should be installed downstream of the flow meter;
·Because the instrument transmits signals through magnetic coupling, in order to ensure the performance of the instrument, at least 10cm around the installation, no ferromagnetic substances are allowed;
• Meters that measure gas are calibrated at a specific pressure. If the gas is directly discharged to the atmosphere at the outlet of the meter, it will create a pressure drop at the float and cause data distortion. • Be especially careful when installing PTFE-lined instruments. Because the PTFE will deform under the action of uneven pressure, the flange nut is evenly tightened symmetrically;
