At present, five major projects, including the new energy vehicle production base and the Ningbo Mould Industrial Park, have started construction, and the projects such as Zhidou Electric Vehicle and Maoyu Port Comprehensive Treatment Project have been included in the city's key projects.

BYD's new energy vehicle Fenghua production base is located in Binhai New Area, with a total planned investment of about 3.5 billion yuan. Unlike Geely, the BYD Ningbo new energy vehicle project mainly produces pure electric buses. The second phase of the project will produce card collection and port special vehicles.
