According to reports, the total amount of used tires produced annually in Suzhou is more than 3 million, and the total weight is about 50,000 tons. However, the existing waste tire processing capacity in Suzhou is far from satisfying the demand. Many used tires have been sold to other places and even some have been burned to pollute the environment. "The highest level of utilization of waste materials is to eat dry pressed nets. In fact, a large amount of rubber powder contained in tires is an important industrial raw material. After extraction, it can be used for reclaimed rubber, road rubber powder modified asphalt, and rubber. Production of floor tiles, tire additives, etc." said the staff. It is reported that the assembly line has been introduced from the Taiwan region through international bidding. The production process adopts fully-closed automated continuous operation, which greatly reduces dust and noise. “This machine uses physical room temperature treatment and does not react chemically. Cutting the tires is just like cutting tofu.†The staff told the reporter that the annual processing capacity of this line is 50,000 tons of waste tires, and 35,000 tons of rubber powder is extracted each year. The annual output value exceeds 120 million yuan.
According to reports, the waste tire processing line is the first waste material processing line introduced by the direct renewable resources industrial park. The total investment of this industrial park is 487 million yuan. It will be completed in August this year. The industrial park integrates transaction, processing, warehousing, logistics and scientific research, and its annual processing capacity for various types of renewable resources exceeds 600,000 tons.
