Shanxi Coal Chemical's maleic anhydride design team is dedicated to increasing the production capacity of large-scale fixed-bed reactors, using gas turbines to drive fans, and pioneering the conversion of intermittent distillation to continuous distillation. This production facility has been built. After more than three months of trial operation, it was shown that the maleic anhydride produced by this large-scale production device not only has high quality and stable quality, but also reduces raw material consumption by 10% and production energy consumption by 60%.
The first domestic 20,000 ton/year maleic anhydride production unit independently developed and designed by Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute and its supporting 50,000 ton/year continuous maleic anhydride distillation unit, recently in Shanxi Xinhe Taiming Chemical Co., Ltd. It was completed and put into production, and it passed the cycle assessment on January 7th. The installation is stable. This marks China's maleic anhydride production technology to a new level.
