Reason for recall:

The front airbag of the driver's seat in this recall range is equipped with an ammonium nitrate gas generator without a desiccant produced by Takada. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator may be abnormally damaged, causing debris to fly out and injuring the inside of the vehicle, posing a safety hazard.

Changan Ford Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the improved front airbag module of the driver's seat for the vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
